Hair Doctors wasn’t born from a business plan—it was born from a calling.

We (Alena and Davian) were two stylists working at a corporate salon where we were treated like numbers on a spreadsheet. There was no soul, no creativity, no freedom—just the hamster wheel of corporate America. And we knew that wasn’t what this craft was about.

So, we decided to step off the wheel. To take a risk. To build something of our own. Our very first “Open” sign was held up in Davian’s garage just down the street from our future shop, and that moment marked the beginning of true freedom for us.

We opened Hair Doctors with one goal: to create a salon that values people over profits. A place where artists are free to create, clients are treated with care, and the focus isn’t on selling the most services but on genuinely uplifting others.

For us, hairdressing is a healing art. Every haircut, every color, every curl transformation is an act of love. When a client leaves our chairs more in love with themselves, they radiate that confidence outward—into their families, their workplaces, and their communities. That ripple effect of love and self-acceptance is what drives us every single day.
